She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Harold and Mary Lucy Powell George. She is survived by: her husband Herb Alford; her sisters, Beatrice Mae Lowery (Jake), Mary Morales Markham, Marva Ila Pearce and Bonnie George; and her siblings-in-law, Jimmy Alford (Rhonda) and Renee Turner (Brent). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bright Funeral Home (405 S Main St, Wake Forest, NC 27587). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bright Funeral Home Chapel (405 S Main St, Wake Forest, NC 27587).
