He is survived by: his father Donald Rice; his wife Susan Carroll Rice; his daughters, Hanley Rice (Michael Woody), Kelsey Hymel (Jon) and Ellie Mosteller (Logan); his grandchildren, John Grey, William, Bennett, Camellia Woody, Miles, Bowen, Reid Hymel, Hazel-James, Rosemary and Autumn Mosteller; his sister Karen Reece; and his nibling Chris Wiksell (Susannah).
