He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Watkins and Estelle Holmes Watkins; his wife Olivia Hicks Watkins; and his brother Ted Watkins. He is survived by : his children, Sharon Watkins Stroud of Wake Forest and Alan Watkins (Trisha) of Wake Forest; his grandchildren, Wyatt Stroud of Wake Forest, Michelle Watkins of Wake Forest, Allison Watkins of Wake Forest and Ryan Watkins of Wake Forest; and his niece Pam Watkins Prince of Florida.
