It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Isaris Cecilia Rivera (Wake Forest, North Carolina), who passed away on April 12, 2026, at the age of 33, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her aunt Sylvia Pineda; and her grandfather Carlos Rosas. She is survived by: her parents, Irma Pineda and Luis Rivera; her stepparents, Charlie Pineda and Briceida Rivera; her siblings, Arianis Rivera, Andrew Pineda and Luis R. Rivera, Jr.; her niece Leighton Gargis; her nephew Lowen Gargis; her grandparents, Digna Vega, Adelia Duran and Juan Duran; her uncle Guilo Acevedo; and her aunts, Patricia Bushnell, Dinora Menendez and Mayra Rivera-Mann.
