He was predeceased by: his parents, Hettie Denton and Buster Denton; and his sisters, Emmie Rose Straughn, Dee Mitchell and Beatrice Noland.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Denton (Amy), Cassandra Denton Craft and Mark Denton (Deanne); his siblings, Richard Denton (Gail), Frances Bass and Helen Edwards; and his grandson Hunter Denton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Denton Family Cemetery.
