He is survived by: his wife Belinda Joy Cook; his cousins, David Kennedy, Wayne, Joy Allgood and Jane Carson French; his mother-in-law Linda Combs; his sister-in-law Suzette Haynie (Will); and his sibling's children, Eric Byrd (Natalie) and Rachel Byrd.
