He was predeceased by : his parents, Jeremiah Edward Ruddy and Elizabeth Joseph Ruddy. He is survived by : his wife Tracy Downing Ruddy; his daughters, Taylor Ruddy Rickle (Bryan Rickle) and Victoria Downing Ruddy; his granddaughter Adalynn Tracy Rickle; his siblings, Margaret Eva Ruddy, Virginia Elizabeth Ruddy and Michael Owen Ruddy (Maureen); his nephew Jeremiah Ruddy; and his niece Amanda Ruddy.

“Please accept our sincere condolences regarding your loss. Jimmy Maida informed us a couple of weeks ago, and the older you get, the slower things get done. In addition to our neighborhood connection, my wife was a classmate of Jerry's at De Sales, and remembers him well.
