He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Spears (Contado); his son Philip Spears; his daughter-in-law Lauren Spears (Rowland); his grandsons, Nolan and Derek Spears; his daughter Heather Beckford (Spears); his son-in-law Peter Beckford; his sisters, Dee Ella Kardon (Peter Kardon) and Mary Etta Wright (Spears); and his cousin Gail Duggan (Warren).
