It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Ray (Wake Forest, North Carolina), who passed away on May 17, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Herod Ray and Ruby Williams Ray; his godparents, B. W. and Maude Wells; and his siblings, David Ray, Harvey Ray, Wayne Ray and Katherine Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Lowery Ray; his children, Kevin Ray (Susan), Sherry Hogarth (Rob) and Tripp Ray (Melanie); his sister Judy Goodwin; his grandchildren, Cason Ray (CarolAnn), Dylan Stein, Caitlin Palmer, Cayleigh Ray, Maika Hogarth, Savannah Thompson, Connor Thompson and Tristan Ray; and his great grandchildren, Cashel Palmer and Kinsley Ray. He is also survived by His children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
