He is survived by: his sons, John Lee Elliott (Teresa McFadden Elliott) of Fayetteville, NC, Christopher Blaine Elliott (Karla Anne Irwin) of Philadelphia, PA and Matthew Rees Elliott (Anna Godley Elliott) of Zebulon, NC; his grandchildren, David Benson Elliott and Glenna Day Elliott; his brother Thomas Wayne Elliott (Linda Bishop Elliott); and his nephews, Curtis Elliott, Craig Elliott and Charles Elliott.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Wake Forest Firefighters Foundation, Wake County SPCA, or Oak Level Christian Church Deacon's Fund.
