He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Wiles and Ruth Keating Wiles. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Joy Wiles; his children, John Carl Wiles and Sarah Winsett Wiles; his son-in-law Joseph L. Childers; his grandchildren, Zoë Winsett Childers Wiles and Isaac Walker Childers Wiles; and his siblings, Tom Wiles (Linda), Virginia Wiles, Jim Bob Wiles (Lauri) and Bill Wiles (Mary Anne). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
