It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Candora (Wake Forest, North Carolina), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 21, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Candora and Marguerite Candora (Andrews); and his brother Fred "Butch" Candora. He is survived by: his wife Carol Candora (Balchunis) of Raleigh, NC; his children, Christine Candora-Hickey (Chris Hickey) of Holly Springs, NC, Cheryl Candora of Raleigh, NC and Joseph Anthony Candora (Megan) of Raleigh, NC; his grandsons, Kent and Luke Candora of Raleigh, NC; his siblings, Mary Jenkins (Candora) and James Candora of Raleigh, NC; and his pet Flutie.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations are made in his memory to Disabled American Veterans.

Four great years in high school playing baseball and four years of being in the same classes together both of us in the print shop and then going in the army together and serving in vietnam we crossed paths over there one time had great childhood days together and got each other through our first few weeks at Fort Dix”
