It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Marie Lett (Wake Forest, North Carolina), who passed away on January 23, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Elkins (Buster) and Irene Ward Elkins; her husband Jackie Lee Lett; and her siblings, Sandra Newell, Patricia Higginbotham, Carol Ball, Sue Cook, Jean Farley and Jimmy Elkins.
She is survived by: her children, Mark W Lett of Buckhannon, WV and Joy Marie Fealy-Kalar (Michael Kalar) of Wake Forest, NC; her grandchildren, Kiersten Reider (Derek Furtado), Ian Fealy, Aiden Fealy, Gretchen Kelly (Matthew Kelly) and Cameron Kalar; her great grandchildren, Jaxon and Marshall; and her siblings, Sherry Cabell, Karen Rothan, Cheryl Dembowski, Betty Forro and Paul Elkins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
Combating hunger and food insecurity was a cause that was near and dear to Nana's heart, so in lieu of memorial trees or flowers, her family has requested that donations be made to the Mountaineer Food Bank.
