Kathy Raye Cone Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Raye Cone (Wake Forest, North Carolina), who passed away on September 29, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Kathy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kathy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Ray and Pauline Marie Watson Lairson; and her siblings, Jimmy Lairson and Paula Sue Brown. She is survived by: her son Jeremy Cone (Emily Downing); and her pet Gaia.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Beulah Christian Baptist Church Cemetery (8225 Mitchell Mill Rd, Zebulon, NC 27597).
