With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lee Otis Shadle Jr. (Wake Forest, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 3, 2026 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Otis Shadle, Sr. and Betty Jean Retzlaff Shadle; and his son Joel Michael Shadle. He is survived by: his wife Debra Edwards Shadle; his stepsons, Phillip Drew McMillan (Gil) of Woodland, CA and Emory Garrett McMillan of Raleigh; his granddaughter Ada McMillan; and his sisters, Christina Shadle (Max) of Reno, Annette Howard of Florida and Julie Wickham of Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and several godchildren.
