It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leigh Brown Melvin (Wake Forest, North Carolina), who passed away on March 1, 2026, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Wilson Brown Smith and Kenneth Eugene Brown. She is survived by: her husband James Edward Melvin II; her sons, Joshua O. Melvin and Nikolas K. Melvin; and her sisters, Sharron Champion and Dana Wade.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Wake Forest Cemetery Columbarium (400 N White St, Wake Forest, NC 27587).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in honor of Leigh's love for animals; she loved and treated her fur babies as kids.
