She was predeceased by: her parents, Terence Smith and Elizabeth Smith. She is survived by: her husband Frank Triolo; her children, Marcy and Frank; her sister Betty Hayes; her children, Pam Spellman, Cindy Triolo and Don Triolo; her daughter-in-law Maria Posso Triolo; her grandchildren, Anna Hoffman (Riley), Mary Spellman, Lilly Triolo and Nolan Triolo; her sisters, Gina Smith, Barbara Kallelis (John) and Terry West (Nick); her brother-in-law Bill Hayes; and her nieces and nephews, Kerrin Hayes Going, Meegan Hayes Modla, Gina Kallelis, Coley West Lurie, Terry Hayes, Brian Hayes, JP Kallelis, Alex Kallelis and Matt West.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marcella Triolo's name to the Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh.
