She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Caton; her siblings, Gene Woodlief, Ronald Woodlief, Donald Woodlief, Frank Woodlief, Thurman Woodlief, Pauline Dupree and Ruby Fuller; and her niece Erika Suzanne Woodlief.
She is survived by: her children, James Caton of San Jose, CA, Linda Terry (Mitch) of Knightdale and Cindy Brooks (Marvin) of Zebulon; her grandson Buddy Brooks (Devin) of Wilmington; her great grandchild Blayze Brooks of Wilmington; her pets, Maverick, Samson, Serenity, Winston and Dale; her siblings, Frankie White of Youngsville, Pete Woodlief of Los Gatos, CA and Herman Woodlief (Alice) of Tulare, CA; and her sister-in-law Sharon Woodlief Britt (David). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Wake Forest Cemetery (400 N White St, Wake Forest, NC 27587).
