With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond L. Harris Jr. (Wake Forest, North Carolina), who passed away on December 1, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond L. Harris and Josephine Harris; and his significant other Pearl Lloyd Harris. He is survived by: his children, Mike (Angie) and Susan (Derek); his granddaughters, Michelle Evans (Michael), Megan Allen (Clint), Ashleigh Crawford and Jennifer McCurdy (Anthony); his great grandchildren, C. J., Ray, Ben, Hudson and Will Evans; his brother Ron Harris (Lena); and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Brown (Ed), Ruth Young and Cynthia Weatherspoon (Jimmy).
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Falls Baptist Church (9700 Fonville Rd, Wake Forest, NC 27587). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
