He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Parks and Katherine O'Krepke Parks; and his brother Roger. He is survived by: his family Bob; his wife Virginia Ashworth Parks; his sons, Gary Parks (Silvana) and Owen Parks (Erin); and his grandsons, Ethan Parks and Hunter Bell.
Throughout his professional life, Robert made significant contributions to various New Jersey industries and utilities including Union Carbide, BP Polymers, Elizabethtown Water Co., and JCP&L.
