She is survived by: her children, Frini Valera (Jaime), Victoria Grant (Frederick), Carolina Borda, Magaly Bregante, Teresa Perron (John), Sonia Solorzano (Julio), Ida Cuadros (Lucho) and Igor Borda (Carmen); her brother Hugo Mendoza (Loren); her grandchildren, Ivonne, Ingrid, Justina, Kilila, Alexandra, Chaska, Charlotte, Eric and Ian; and her great grandchildren, Irina, Itcel, Liam, Mateo and Adrian.
She lived her life as a testament to her beliefs, embodying the virtues of compassion and charity.
