He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard Tant and Reca Massey Tant; and his wife Frances Tutor Tant. He is survived by : his daughters, Theresa (Sandy Kennedy) of Youngsville and Sheryl Heise of Ponte Vedra; his grandchildren, Lisa Heise of Jacksonville and John Heise (Courtney); and his great grandchildren, Elijah and Lily of Riverview, Florida..
