He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Cochran and Elizabeth Dunn Cochran; his daughter Patricia Gibson; and his brother Kenneth Cochran. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Walker Cochran; and his children, Paul Cochran, Robert Joseph Cochran, Theresa Gearheart (Wayne), Donna Stewart (Don) and Elizabeth Idol (Steve). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, plus one great grandchild on the way; 2 great great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel (3950 Macy Grove Rd, Kernersville, NC 27284). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
