He is survived by: his wife Delores Taylor; his children, Latesa Barrett, Tiffany Robinson (Daryl) and Thaxton Taylor Jr. (Ashton); his grandchildren, Annah Davis (Thomas), Isis Robinson, Maryam Robinson, Ava Marie Rose Taylor and David Ashton Myer; his great grandchild Nigel Davis; and his siblings, Alice Hill, Retired, Chief Warrant Officer III- John Henry Taylor and Retired, Lieutenant Colonel- Jerry Taylor. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Greater Emmanuel Word of Faith Community Church (4150 Mecum Rd, Walkertown, NC 27051). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
