With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon Barnard Rivers of Walkertown, North Carolina, who passed away on May 27, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Mae and Fred Rivers, Jr.; his wife Peggy Ann Rivers; and his sisters, Fredra Robertson and Janice Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Ann Eulberg (John) and David Leon Rivers; his grandchildren, Justin May (Kayleigh), Sabrina, Joseph Eulberg, Kasey and Hailey Rivers; his great grandchildren, Amelia and Diana; and his siblings, Harry "Mickey" Mitchell Rivers (Phyllis) and Vanessa Burchette (Alan). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Memory - Mausoleum Chapel (5696 Old Walkertown Rd, Walkertown, NC 27051).
