She is survived by: her husband Eddie Wayne Bates, Sr.; her sons, Eddie Wayne Bates, Jr. of Greensboro and Clinton Lee Bates of Colfax; her grandson Ashton Bates of Greensboro; and her sisters, Robin Craig, Joyce Haines and Becky Bryant.
