She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaiah Cavenaugh and Florence Cavenaugh; the father of her child Raymond North Bray; and her siblings, Aubrey Cavenaugh, Virgie Profitt, John David Cavenaugh, Bertie Gilbert and Ray Cavenaugh.

She is survived by: her son Tony Bray of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Jessica Bray Knott (Shane), Joshua Adam Bray (Kerry Brobston) and Jacob Benjamin Bray (Alema Shaw); her great grandchildren, Jaxon Knott and Adalyne Knott; her brother Aaron Cavenaugh (Jenny) of Wallace; and her sisters-in-law, Doris Cavenaugh of Wallace and Mary Lou Cavenaugh. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cavenaugh Cemetery.
