She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dewey Rochell and Lucille Cole Rochell; her brother James Dewitt Rochelle (Cub); her children, Bonnie Lynn Ezzell (Ronald), Teresa James and Thomas Jeffereson James, Jr. (Sam); her grandson Michael Scott Dale; her children, Carmen Dale Piner (Brandon), Harlee Desire James and Heidi James Tokoly (Brantley); and her great grandchildren, Hannah Grace Dixon, Emily Anne Piner, Carleigh June Piner, Ellie Jane Piner, Piner Kate Tokoly, Fisher Wells Tokoly and Jamesly Rae Tokoly. She was also cherished by step-children and step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Quinn-McGowen Funeral Wallace (612 S Norwood St, Wallace, NC 28466). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Church of Pentecostal Gathering.
