It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Benjamin Jessup Jr. of Wallace, North Carolina, who passed away on January 16, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin and Ila Daniel Jessup; his parents-in-law, Robert Frank and Mildred Boone; and his brother-in-law Almon H. Carter, Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Emily Boone Jessup; his children, Angela Partin (Tom) of Richlands, Leslie Fitzpatrick (Brian) of Charlotte and Robert Jessup (Mike) of Atlanta; his grandsons, Eric Partin (Amanda) of Wilmington and Matthew Partin of Richlands; his siblings, Marion Glyn Carter of Wallace, Sue Davidson (Jim) of Virginia and Julian Jessup (Jeannie) of Dunn; and his sister-in-law Jayne McLean of Wallace. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.

Due to Covid, our family has decided to have a Memorial Service at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to First Baptist Church of Wallace Building Maintenance Fund.
