Betty Dale Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Dale of Wallace, North Carolina, who passed away on October 19, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Challie Peterson and Vera Giddeons Peterson; her husband Warren Dale; and her sister Mabel Ray Peterson Strickland. She is survived by: her sons, Randy Dale (Kay) of Wallace and Dexter Dale (Celeste) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Chris Dale (Kelly), Matt Dale (Kristen), Scott Dale and Carmen Piner (Brandon); her great grandchildren, Kaleb Dale (Samantha), Nathan Dale, Gianna Dale, Hannah Grace Dixon, Emily Piner, Carleigh Piner and Ellie Piner; her great great grandchildren, Huxtyn Brown and Addie Dale; and her sisters, Avis Powell of Watha and Annette Murray of Harrells. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Quinn McGowen Funeral Home (612 S Norwood St, Wallace, NC 28466). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Riverview Memorial Park (9332 US-117, Willard, NC 28478).
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be given to Centenary United Methodist Church, 401 Tomahawk Hwy, Harrells, NC 28444.
