She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy LeGwin and Ruby Wiggs LeGwin; her husband William Ward Blanchard; and her brothers, L. C. LeGwin, Jr. and Joe LeGwin.
She is survived by: her children, Julie B. Case of Wallace and William David Blanchard (Jennifer) of Rose Hill; her grandchildren, Kristen Case Barber (Zack), Lauren Case, Peyton Blanchard, Dylan Blanchard and Abigail Blanchard; her great grandchildren, Zachary Loner, Case Loner, Bailey Case and Bryson Barber; and her close friend Stacy Alan Wells of Wallace. She is also survived by her faithful companion "Zoey" and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wallace Presbyterian Church (205 W Main St, Wallace, NC 28466). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
