He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Myers Canady; his children, Will Canady (Katie) of Wallace, Shannon Barber (Philip) of Wallace and Samantha Wilhoit of Lake Tillery; his grandchildren, Kensley Blanchard, Jase Blanchard, Channing Wilhoit, Wyatt Wilhoit, Maddox Wilhoit and Daxton Wilhoit; and his siblings, Wayne Canady (Phyllis) of Hampstead, James Canady (Louise) of Wilmington, Neal Cook (Dana) of Hampstead, Melvinia Hester of Sanford and Darlene Spencer (David). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
