“Although it is with joy that we know he has gone to be with the Lord, we are sorry to hear of the passing of David, a lifelong friend. I knew him growing up in Korea, but 6 years ago got to know him much better as he accompanied me on a mission trip to the South Sudanese refugee camps in Uganda. This may have been the best I got to know him, and it was wonderful. God bless the family, especially including his children whom I do not know and his siblings whom I know well.”
