She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Jones and Mary Moore Jones; and her brothers, David Jones, Clifton Jones and Lacy Earl "Bug" Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Wainwright Fucili (Rickey) of Wallace and William Wade Wainwright (Michelle) of Jacksonville; her grandchildren, Leslie Fucili, Holly Fucili and Michael Paternoster, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Maverick Elliot and Dash Paternoster; her siblings, Mary "Liz" Spearman of Wallace, Christine Carr (Joe) of Willard and Elmer Hunt (Dianne) of Burgaw; and her sister-in-law Bessie Jones of Rose Hill. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home (612 S Norwood St, Wallace, NC 28466). Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 from 2:45 PM to 3:30 PM at the Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Wallace Chapel (612 S Norwood St, Wallace, NC 28466).
