Evelene Cavenaugh Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelene Cavenaugh of Wallace, North Carolina, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evelene Cavenaugh to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Hatcher and Magaline Brown Hatcher; her husband Billy Holmes Cavenaugh; her son Billy Warren Cavenaugh; and her sister Marsha Mercer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy C. Parker (C. E.) of Beulaville and Paula C. Lee of Clinton; her grandchildren, Josh Cavenaugh, Will Cavenaugh (Sarah Pearl Farrior), Amanda Jones, Riley Pate (Stephen), Ellis Parker (MaKayla), Kyle Lee (Cassie Bradshaw) and Megan Crespo (Manuel "Sparky"); her great grandchildren, Corbin, Bennett, Oakley, Eli, Axel, Brantley, Cooper, Wyatt, Stetson and Charlie; her siblings, Durwood Hatcher (Peggy) of Clayton, Charles Hatcher (Ruth) of Penderlea, Marie Davis of Wallace and Debbie Usher of Teachey; and her daughter-in-law Allison Cavenaugh of Wallace. She is also survived by her feline furry friends "Pete" and "Sue"; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Northeast PFWB Church.
