He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles David Sloan Sr. and Margaret Faison Sloan; and his brother Charles David Sloan, Jr.. He is survived by: his sister Nell Sloan of Wallace; his niece Jade Goodman (Josh); his great-nephew Asher of Phoenix; his niece Blanche Player (Jarryd) of Travelers Rest; his great-niece Elena; his aunt Dorothy Faison of Clinton; his cousins, Plato Faison (Jan) and Henry Faison (Crystal); his sister-in-law Debbie Wood (Mike); his close friend Jimmy Blanton; Wyman Faison (Samantha), Ella, Isabella and Elias. He is also survived by his furry friend "Panda" and numerous extended family.
