She was predeceased by: her parents, James William and Hannah Garland Hatcher Batts; her husband Darrel Lee Rivenbark, Sr.; and her siblings, James Rudy Batts, Barbara Ann Batts and Susan Batts Adkins.
She is survived by: her siblings, Judy Batts Batchelor of Durham and Mark Batts (Denise) of Grifton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Wallace Chapel (612 S Norwood St, Wallace, NC 28466). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
