He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Giddings and Lila Giddings; his wife Gail Hutterman Giddings; and his brother Harold Giddings. He is survived by: his son Joe Giddings (Anne) of Wilmington; and his grandchildren, Paytan Giddings Granda (Jacob), Sydney Giddings and Makayla Jordan Granda. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
