She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Sellers and Carrie Lee Ward Sellers; her husband Douglas Mears; her children, Linda Louise Odom and Robert F. Odom; and her brothers, Wilton Sellers and Buddy Sellers.
She is survived by: her children, Earl Grey Odom (Patricia) of Penderlea, Mark Odom of Willard and Rebecca "Becky" Fussell (Phillip) of Willard; her grandchildren, Lisa Hughes, Jennifer Cottle (Blake), Michael Fussell and Blake Fussell; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Delaney, Kayla, Samantha and Benny; her great great grandchildren, Colton and Summit; and her siblings, Sandra Gail Bass (Larry) of Sanford and Bobby Ray Sellers of Whiteville. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Pentecostal Gathering (1342 N Norwood St, Wallace, NC 28466). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
