He is survived by: his wife Carol Chancey; his son Christopher (Virginia); his stepchildren, Karen Hunter, Harry Hunter (Tonia), Paul Chancey, Debbie Chancey Tucker and Tracy Chancey; and his cousin Roscoe Whitney.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Riverview Memorial Park (612 S Norwood St, Wallace, NC 28466).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Veterans Administration, Wounded Warrior, or Agape Hospice of South Carolina.
