She is survived by: her daughters, Dianne Benton Murray (Byron) of Wallace, NC, Teresa Benton Adams (Floyd) of Kenansville, NC, Sandra Benton Lanier of Rose Hill, NC and Patricia "Patty" Lyons Pierce of Spokane, WA; her grandchildren, Eric Murray (Morgan), Patrick Murray (Laken), Melissa Jones, Jason Pierce and Kyle Pierce; her great grandchildren, Jocelyn Jones, Carrlee Jack Murray, Skylar Murray, Cohen Murray and Baker Murray; her sister Annette Hammomd of Deatsville, AL; and her niece June Robinson (Jimmy) of Rose Hill, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Wallace Chapel (612 S Norwood St, Wallace, NC 28466). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
