He was predeceased by: his parents, John Raymond Holland and Ella Lee Southern Holland; and his brothers, Johnny, James, Billy Joe, Danny Wayne and Joseph "Joe" William Holland.
He is survived by: his sister Myrtle Hutcherson; his nephews, B. J. Holland and Danny Holland, Jr.; his great-nieces, Danica Holland and Anna Holland; his great-nephew C. J. Holland; his close friends, Nathan Garrett (Brooke), Jerry Adkins and Tim Watkins; Charlotte, Caswell and Henry.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Clear Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (2843 North Carolina Hwy 89 E, Walnut Cove, NC 27052).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that memorial donations be made to a local charity of your choice in David's memory.
