We announce the death of Flora Faith Faulkner of Walnut Cove, North Carolina, who passed away on October 14, 2026, at the age of 87. Flora will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Leonard Faulkner and Rhoda Faulkner; her sons, Greg Hungerford and James Hungerford; and her siblings, Marie Lykins, Mary Parsons, Mazie Baker, Corbett Faulkner and Chalmer Faulkner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Cranfill (Charles) and Sandi Hungerford; her daughter-in-law Tina Hungerford; her grandchildren, Flora Hungerford, Myriah Heacox (Cody), Christopher Hungerford, Kiera Bunch (Ben Herrera) and Ella Cranfill; her great grandchildren, Graylyn and Ryleigh Heacox; and her siblings, Clell Faulkner (Louise), Ada Sewell and Bill Faulkner (Sherri).
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Porter and Son Funeral Directors (769 Main St, Campton, KY 41301). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Porter and Son Funeral Director's Chapel (769 Main St, Campton, KY 41301).
