She was predeceased by: her parents, Wanchese Thompson and Myra D. Thompson; and her siblings, Llewellyn Cudworth Daniels, Llewellyn "Little Lew" Midgett (Joy), Llewellyn "Sonny Boy" Daniels, Jr. (Ede), Jimmy Tucker Daniels (Merle), Joan Biggs (Tommy), Dixie Walker Daniels (Ruth), Bebe Tillet (Orville) and Robert "Bobby" Luther Daniels (Valerie).
She is survived by: her sibling Vara Midgett Daniels; her husband Keith Thompson; her children, Jeff Thompson (Rachel), Greg Thompson (Susan) and Elizabeth Wells (Jeff); and her grandchildren, Bonnie Bleu Thompson, Nicole Thompson, Halen Wells and Dolly Wells.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wanchese Assembly of God (4226 Mill Landing Rd, Wanchese, NC 27981). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
