He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Famer and Doris Miller Lambert; and his wife Rita Miller Farmer. He is survived by: his son Travis Farmer (Amanda) of Lansing; and his sisters, Linda Sexton (Ed) of Jefferson, Kathy Freeze of West Jefferson and Carol McNeill (Billy) of West Jefferson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Boone Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services (2005 Mt Jefferson Rd, West Jefferson, NC 28694). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
