He was predeceased by : his parents, L. W. Wells and Mable Wilson Wells; his brother Tony Wells; and his grandson Tyler. He is survived by : his wife Phyllis Loyd Wells; his children, Rachel Gustkey (Frankie), Tony Harmon (Robin) and Jonathan Wells (Ashley); his siblings, Janet Salter (Ed) and Ronald Wells (Kristie); his grandchildren, Gabe, Dustin (Janneth), Haylee, William, Ava, Emma, Thomas, Skylar and Colton; and his great grandchild Dustin Jr. "DJ". He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchild.

The family asks that any memorials be directed to the Warrenton Church of God.
