Marvin Edward Tromba Obituary

Marvin "Edward" Tromba 79 of Warrenton passed away on July 5, 2026.

Edward was born on February 19, 1947 in Iredell County to Madeline Lee Tromba and Morris Jack Tromba.

Edward was very talented. He was very good at figuring things out and finding a way to fix it. He worked as a mechanic and ran his own business for 28 years. He was also a very gifted carpenter. He built two houses for his family including the electrical and plumbing. He was very reluctant to ask for help.

Edward loved the Lord, the Church, cars, tractors, as well as his wife and family. He met his true love Nancy "Diana" West in October of 1965. Love at first sight. Three days later he proposed. They were married January 30th 1966. Their love grew for over 60 years until his passing. He always went out of his way to compliment Diana and tell her he loved her. They were members of Centerville Baptist Church.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents as well as two brothers Charles "Butch" Tromba and Jackie Tromba.

Edward was survived by his wife; children Lorenda, Lonnie (wife Edna) and Lynn; grandchildren Ashley Anderson (husband Mathew), Joshua, Meghan, Max, Zack, Paul (wife Leah Ann), Henry, Samantha, and Jackson; sisters Joy Hardee, Toni Cagle (husband Bobby), and Judy Raymer (husband Joe); and many nieces and nephews.

He set a great example for his children and grandchildren. Although he left a huge hole in our hearts, we know we will see him again. "To make a long story short" and to quote his last words "GOD IS GOOD!Funeral services will be Monday, July 13th, 2026 at 11am at Centerville Baptist Church, 5741 NC 561 Hwy, Louisburg with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
