She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard M. Clarey (Duke); her mother Julia A. Goetz; her stepfather Gerard H. Goetz; her sister-in-law Yoshiko Crowell; and her grandson Matthew Allen Cotton.
She is survived by: her children, Amy Christine Clarey, Deborah Lynn Thomas (Clarey), James Lloyd Clarey and Daniel Scott Clarey. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren.
