It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha Mae Bond Rogers of Warsaw, North Carolina, who passed away on March 18, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Evander Bond and Exie Lanier Bond; her husband James Lee Rogers; her siblings, Allen Bond and Louise Baker; and her great grandchild Julia Porter.
She is survived by: her children, Delmar Rogers (Patricia) of Elizabethtown, Mary Catherine Leary of Wilmington, Linda Kaye Bristow of Kenansville, Sandra Rogers of Kenansville and Esther Pate of Kenansville; her grandchildren, Kenneth Leary, II, Aimee Gautier, Joani Usher, Tracy Rogers, Jamie Rogers, Kaye Griffin, David Leary and Daniel Leary; her brother Martin Lee Bond (Pat) of Suffolk, VA; and her sister-in-law Alice Bond. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
