He was predeceased by: his parents, Currie Dail and Annie Mae Barnette Dail; his wife Ruth Carolyn Warren Dail; his son Vance Warren Dail; his grandson Joel Cox; his great grandchild Cora Cox; his son-in-law David (Tyndall); and his siblings, Currie "Bud" Dail and Louise Dail Evans.

He is survived by: his daughter Lisa C Tyndall of Calypso; his granddaughter Cora J Gore of Calypso; his great grandchildren, Vance Carter of Calypso, Bailey Foster of Calypso, Bryce Foster of Calypso and Blair Cox of Buffalo, OK.; his grandson David Tyndall (Liz); his great grandchild Andrew Kyle (Deisy); his great great grandchildren, Ariyanna of Clayton, Damien of Clayton and Quinn Kyle of Clayton; and his sister Laura Eloise Dail Honeycutt of Macon, GA.. He is also survived by friend.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Community Funeral Home of Warsaw (1654 NC-50, Warsaw, NC 28398). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
